04:31 pm - grubs that night was so awesome. great start to the weekend that has to end in studying. we didnt go to bed until about 4 because we stayed up talking, making necklaces and drinking all my orange juice. this morning after sleeping in til eleven (a usually unattainable luxury in the bishop household) we went to walmart, bought beads and hemp, and then i came home and cleaned my room. about ready to leave for kayla's where more tie dye awaits us. final thought: "leads me through moonlight, only to burn me with the sun" Current Mood: grubby! Current Music: dirty dancing

01:01 am - The art of tie-dye "ohh yess" -quoth liz after reading my title. our legs are completely covered in various colors of dye and we have the clothes to go with it. we dyed everything from beaters to underwear to susies dress shirt (teehee she wont care...its now got fire sleeves and black spots). it is all so unbelievably hot, and we both really needed this night just to get away from stress and finals. although, thanks to a certain message, we have a slightly perturbed chica. who is sitting next to me. with paper clips dangling from her ears. laughing hysterically as i write these words. oh yea. we also went to graduation. congrats. goodnight all. final thought: "...w/ words unspoken...will you still love me, tomorrow?" Current Mood: delirious Current Music: liz laughing..oh shit. i have pink fingers.

03:27 pm - Trumpet Voluntary Update about mumsy's wedding.
friday: long ride with matt, mike, and kyle (cherry 7up and snood). rehearsal dinner aka pizza at uncle bobby's, rehearsal at the church and then back to granpa's for little stuff.
saturday: THE WEDDING. mumsy wakes up all up, and a surprising sense of calm fills the house...amid the hustle and bustle of hair doing, makeup applying, nail painting, and raisin toast eating. church time...it begins, and the service was beautiful. they had the traditional exchanging of rings and vows, but then it was also about uniting our two families so they presented us kids with family medallions. they had a short sermon in which i almost lost my voice completely because they talked about granma and i kinda choked up. the had a lighting of the candles and i sang. then the new bride and groom sealed it with a kiss, and we all went outside. our family is an eclectic bunch and my mothers a nutter so we all played with noisemakers on their way out of the church instead of traditional rice or birdseed. over to the fire hall, where we preceded to dance, play with coloring books, eat, chew blackjack gum, and get rather tipsy. when the dj announced the new mr and mrs mike hales, us kids nailed them with silly string. mumsy tried to escape but twas to no avail. we went back to uncle bobby's afterwards, watched smarty lose, watched reagan's death coverage, ate more pizza, watched hocus pocus, and then went back to the house.
sunday: ride home, picnic at tom and robbies, watched the tape of the wedding, and hung out in the pool.
there you have it, pictures will inevitably follow.
final thought: seriously, did anyone else think griff dyed his hair? Current Mood: pleased Current Music: polyester bride

05:23 pm - Poised Precariously over a Percolating Pit of Putrid Pasta gotta love calvin and hobbes. nothing exciting today, except seeing that huge freaking bug this morning and me hyperventilating, but besides that...amnesty was basically me and adam sitting there with him doing his math homework and telling me to leave him alone because apparently i messed things up, and me referring him to the pep team. then liz and i went for a walk and "storytime" and dae's grandad drove me home. i did get to see the pix bree had of VA, prom, and wildwood, all of which were highly entertaining. the highlight is the boca burger i get for dinner tonight.
final thought: "the fair devil" -othello Current Mood: restless Current Music: garbage- sex never goes out of fashion

07:28 pm - the new Wood Girl here is the condensed and censored version of the weekend:
Friday Night: Liz's house, being scared shitless by the damn foxes, laying on the hammock, dirty dancing, and finding the big dipper.
Saturday: Cape May Point, running on the beach, burying alli and chris, MASH, the Vermonster, sunburn, soccer and volleyball, really good pizza, BS, the smell of the breeze, and the van
Sunday: Church, Adam, Aunt Jill's picnic, Grease, wood girl, snakes, debates on politics, "no i am not any taller," and homemade salsa.
Today: Homework, peter falling on the floor, stupid mtv show prom date, and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
all in all was one of the greatest weekends ever. this entry was complete crap compared to how it all really felt. it's indescribable.

04:02 pm - Cheeze, peanuts, and gagging noises highlight of the weekend: having a war with jenn rori, lyss, and i vs maggie and alix. between the flush (written in both cheese and tampons), potty poems on doors, do not disturb signs, and the yellow concoction that almost made jenn puke among other things were the funniest things all weekend. it rocked my socks. the whole trip. getting superior and overall trophies for womens, orchestra not sucking, me not getting burned, hanging out with awesome people, watching holly blow everyones socks off on the dance floor, arm wrestling, rampage, running stairs, etc. one of the best weekends of the year. theres so much more but most of you were there so i don't have to add anything else.
